Went down to the College today to pick up the forms for my third and final placement. I will admit I'm a little nervous to be doing the last one, but I'm sure I'm not unprepared for it. With any luck, in 2 weeks I will be starting.

I didn't really do much of anything today. Didn't even unpack. I just put some cards away, and let the day sort itself out. Played around with pictures mostly, putting up the picture for the weekend on my blog, updating facebook, and making a video. All over, busy without actually being busy.

The drive home at the end of a road trip is always long. Not necessarily bad, just long. Even more annoying is trying to get a hold of people back at home to give them an ETA when a good cell signal is hard to find.



All weekend I was trying to get a nice shot of an American Flag, and I was finally successful on the last day.

Today was my birthday! Complete with birthday cake, see? The cake wasn't for that reason, but I can pretend.

I attended the New England Kotei, in Feeding Hills Massachusetts. Every year, the card game I play (Legend of the Five Rings) has a whole bunch of tournaments all over the world. So I went down there to hang out with people and play cards.



There's usually a lot of booze and a lot of laughs at these events. This is one of the most popular pictures I took, featuring Benny Crane and Ronin Hero, Wedge. My friend Gilles actually won the event, which is pretty cool. The deck we made him is pretty boss, and I wonder how long it will take for copies of it to pop up.



As as with every event, we always end up somewhere terrible for dinner.

Drove to the states on Friday. The drive for a road trip always seem so short when you're going somewhere, it's going back that always seems long. We all went out for dinner at a restaurant called Fuji's, which was very very awesome.

I'm all packed up for Feeding Hills now. Well, mostly always. There are always things that I will do last minute. Wake up bright and early, and hit the road.

Also note the next few pictures will be late, as I won't have internet access over the weekend. I will be taking pictures, and then either Sunday or Monday (depending how I feel when I get home) I will put up the pictures. Since they will be late, I will toss up a few extra.

The cat went to the vets today. She had a bump on her chin, so we had it looked at. Apparently cats can get acne. Who knew? In better news, one of the problems we were worried about with her turned out not to be what everyone was worried that it was. Cryptic enough?

Today I really didn't do much. First day without placement, and I used it to flop and sleep mostly. Even tonight feels like it's going to be an early night. I have a feeling this day will be worth it though, since the rest of the week is going to be rather busy, what with a road trip on Friday and all. I will have to start getting my clothes ready, there is some laundry to do.

Today was the last day of placement for me. My supervisor came in and gave me my final mark (which is a big pass) and I did an experiment with the kids that involved exploding colours in milk.
