We did Canada Day activities with the kids in the morning, and did they have fun with it. I've never seen a beach ball so big.

The kids are trying to teach me how to play blokus, and though I have yet to actually win a game, I think I'm getting better. I'm looking forward to being done this week, if only because then we switch to the much larger room. This one is much to small to keep all these kids in all day.

Today was the first day of working at the daycare in during their summer program. All the kids were pretty excited to be out of school. All the teachers were still buzzing around though, getting their classrooms ready for the fall.

Avenue Q was pretty good. It's very cool to see puppets and people, singing and dancing together. It's very touching.

Turns out the Dungeon Lord game I picked up is pretty good. We had a good time giving it a try, sadly I think it's a little too complex to bring into the daycare this summer.

Today was an exciting day at the Daycare. Seems it was the last day of school, and all the kids were feeling it. I can still remember how exciting it was. When I start working part time next week it's going to be under the summer schedule. It's going to be interesting, that's for sure.

Work in the morning, at the college all afternoon figuring out just how Fall is going to go down, and then an online exam in the afternoon. Certainly sounds like your average relaxed day. Luckily each and every one of those things seems to have gone well, so it was a good day.

One exam today, one big project worth a good chunk of my mark tomorrow, and then another exam on on Thursday. Wow, a very busy week before I start working full time next week.

I have worn the heck out of my shoes, I think I need to get a new pair. These shoes saw me through all three of my placements, and you can tell I've been rough on them. While they have been good shoes, I doubt they will survive the summer.

Today had the double whammy of being both my Mom's birthday and Father's Day. Both events were low key. Also found out how to play .hack, and rocked face at it. Now I get to decide what game the L5R Ottaw club will play next rotating club event.

It's been a while since I've had people over to fool around with the pool and the BBQ. It was good times though.

The combination of pool and BBQ is something we'll have to go again in the near future. I know a few people burned, so we'll have to let them recover first.

Today is a day where I need as much luck as I can possibly get. Not going to get into details right now, but a little bit of luck would certainly go a long way right now.

A surprisingly productive day! Getting out and researching our centre for one class's presentation, doing an in-class assignment for tonight's class, learning about a potential job possibility, and moving up to medium difficulty on the drums in Rock Band. All in all, a very full day.

I showed this blog to my class tonight. They seemed rather impressed with it, and my teacher said it was a really cool idea. Not only that, she said that some people who have seen the pictures I gave her on my last day of placement have commented that they really like the one of the chalk board! That is very cool. People I don't know actually commenting on the picture!

You know what the worst part of reading a book is? When you start to get to the end, and you realize that soon it will be over. No more book, nothing more to read, the story is done. That's the worst part of reading any book.

There are only 200 more pictures to take before I am done and complete my mission! And to think I've almost taken 200 pictures. A year really isn't all that long when you think about it.
I have a schedule for how I will be working this summer now. I'm rather looking forward to it actually. I'm very curious as to how things will work.

Sleeping on a futon is actually comfortable. I find it much more comfortable when you don't fold it down rather than folding it down. I don't know why, you'd think it would be the opposite. I might have also ruined someone's bank account by introducing them to kijiji.

I really thought for a little while today that I had forgotten my charger for the camera's batteries at the cottage. I couldn't for the life of me remember where I put it, which lead to a bit of a cleaning blitz.

Of course I ended up finding in a place which seems silly now, but made sense when I was packing it up. Good thing too, I was running out of usable batteries and I'm finding more and more I want to use and play with the camera. I've been using the tripod a fair bit lately.

Got called in this morning for a few hours. I was actually rather happy with how quickly I managed to get to the daycare, considering how speedily challenged I usually am.
And now the whole house smells like banana bread and no one can have any.

I have been lagging a little with my pictures lately. I haven't really been making the time to work on an actual good shot, and rather thinking "Holy Cow, I need a picture, what can I snap?". I guess that means it's falling a little routine, which isn't really what I want.

I am going to have to work a little harder, seeing what I can do with the camera. It's a little bit hard to think up something to take a picture of everyday, maybe I should start planning it out ahead of time, maybe by the week or something.

It's been one of those days that just seems to drag on and on. I guess I really didn't let myself rest and relax much this weekend, so I was still feeling sort of tired today. Worked today, but the rest of the week should be more relaxed, which is good because there are some things I want to get done.

A new set for L5R was released today, so it was fun to go and play with that for a while. Then what's this? Bowling in the evening? It seems I'm far less bad than I remember.

Went down to the Blackburn Fun Fair today. I always used to go when I was younger, and I always loved it. I can't remember a single year when the Fun Fair was sunny though, and this is no exception. I wandered around and took a bunch of pictures, so I thought I would post some of them up. I couldn't decide which to put up, so I am just putting up 10 of them.
Also today I added a counter to the bottom of this page.

Spent most of today at the hospital with a friend. I was amazing at how quickly we were out of there, I've never seen someone go through emergency that quickly. It was shocking. Getting in around one and out by six is almost unheard of.

Did an allergy course again, which means I'll have my new updated certificate. Also, had a fight with a machine about Pho. So not impressed.
