Felt rather sick all day. I don't know what it was, but just.. tired and sick. I didn't really notice how sick I sounded till I tried to talk in class. All I could think was "Holy Cow, is that what I sound like?". After an afternoon of sleeping things were better.

I got hit by a cold today. Not as bad as I've had them before, but still enough to knock me down for a little while. I am happy to say though that this is the first time I've been sick a good long while! Normally I'm like the canary in the coal mines.

The day started off big and promising. Went to see the Rideau Falls, saw a ton of Canadian geese behind old city hall, went to buy some new shoes (my old ones were making breathing sounds when I walked around), went out to dinner with friends, blah blah blah. Started to get sick near the end, so no Orpheus stuff for last night. Sadly the sick feeling followed me into the next day.

Finished my first week of being a day student. Maybe it's because all the people I've been doing classes with the past couple of years are older, but man do these people talk a lot. Like, all the time. Even when the teacher is talking. You'd think they'd know that means you shush up and listen. I mean common people, this isn't high school.

A very busy day. Worked outreach in the morning, go home for a half an hour then off to the daycare to do a shift! It was surprisingly fast though. The day I mean. It didn't seem to drag on, in fact it went by very very quickly. Won't be able to do that again for a while, next Wednesday I start my night classes. I do the playgroup outreach thing again next Thursday. Set up, watch it go, and tear it down!

Today we finally had temperature like I like it! Cold and dark and rainy. Hey, it's what I like. Don't knock it. Worked at the daycare today, picked up an extra shift tomorrow afternoon which is paired with me working community outreach tomorrow morning. Going to be a busy day, but I'm really looking forward to the outreach thing.

250 days into the year 2010 and I have my first day time class in a long time. It's very different being back on campus when the Sun is turned on. As long as I can get used to sharing a classroom with a bunch of girls just out of highschool then I should be fine.

Tomorrow I have my first day class in a very long time. I will admit, I am more than a little nervous. And tired. Very much tired. And without a car (it seems to have broken again). At least I will have Orpheus to keep me company on the bus tomorrow! Seems every Fall I get the urge to play Orpheus, and this fall is no exception.

So now I know why I've been getting headaches the past couple of days. That would be the change in weather and pressure. I really like how it was the past two days, but that's gonna change. Now I have a couple weeks to get a working L5R deck together, we'll see how that goes.

I now bet we'll have people complaining about the sudden drop in temperature compared to how hot it's been. Mostly a lazy, cold sort of day. The kind of day where you think about imaginary ghosts, go out with friends and then go see a movie about a very angry Mexican.
