I've been having lots of fun with this lens. The image quality is sharp, and I find I'm able to crop things closer than I could with my zoom lens. I think I will be keeping this lens on for a while so I can learn to use it, then go back to the zoom with fresh eyes later on.

Having to actually move with the 50mm lens is something that's a bit of a pain. I suppose using just zooms sort of spoils you, now I have to actually move around to find how I want to shoot something.

I know everyone must be getting tired of flower pictures (or of me not uploading on time. Things are quieter, should be better!) but I figured I would toss one more up to round off the week. I picked up a 50mm lens today, so expect the next couple of weeks to be filled with 50mm fun.

So friggin busy, I just want to take a breather. Tonight there is a debate and a test. I know I'm going to do well on both, but it's still stressful. If I can make it through today, then I can be fine. Everything will be less stressful after today, just 2 exams and no actual classwork to do. Today is also the last day that I have two classes on the same night. Let's not do that again.

I am sure that anyone looking at this blog is probably getting tired of seeing flowers from the backyard. Sadly, that's one of the easier things to do right now. Just did one exam today, only 3 more to go.

Today has a less than inspired photograph because I don't have too much time. I have something I want to finish tonight so I can get it out of the way. That aside, today was a good day and the kids actually sat and listened through my whole reading of the Stinky Cheese Man. They actually started writing their own stories afterwards, which was pretty cool.

Man, it feels like today went by so far. I didn't do much except school work and browse a new photography forum I've stumbled across. It's actually rather cool. But mostly school work. If I can get everything I need to do this week out of the way, then it will make things so much more relaxed for this week.

Went to go see Inception today. It was pretty good, the hallway scene was really neat to watch. The concept was really cool, I really have to give them that.
I tried taking some neat water pictures, but mostly failed I think. It ended up looking neat enough, but not really what I was going for. Just have to practise some more.

I had to add this picture. I thought it was too funny and it was on my window.

So I've finished my last pre-planned day with the older kids at the daycare. Some of the kids are going to be leaving since they are done at the school, and today was the last day I will probably be in the same room as those guys.
