Why does it have to stay cold? We had a couple of nice warm days, but nothing seems to be sticking. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I'm just about done with winter.

Went downtown to play a game with the super noobs. It's not often I get to play someone fun like Howard. The walk back to my car along Rideau was pretty cold. next time I need to find somewhere closer.

So cold today. -30 something with the wind chill. The sun was bright and shining, but those in the know in Canada know that bright and sunny in Canada usually means it's freaking cold.

However, because it's a clear night, we have a awesome moon in the sky.

Today was the last day of my first week on placement. The week went well, though I'm a little tired out. Thankfully tomorrow is PD day, so I can get some planning done. I was enjoying the little bit of sunshine while we had it, followed by bone crunching cold winds.

Today saw the end of the council. Sadly, if you arn't into L5R you have no idea what that means.

The snow started up against today. I'm sort of glad it's no longer raining, but I'm really done with winter.

I'll have to bring this matter before the council, maybe they'll get rid of it. They'll know how too, from their learnings.

It's been some time since I've really thought about roleplaying. I remember back a few years ago when we were all really into it, including out stupidity where we'd play 2 nights a week. What prompted me to pick up the new D&D book, I'm unsure, but we'll see where it leads.

Downtown was nice today. Wasn't too cold, wasn't too warm. So we played some L5R at Fandom, then a couple of us went around, and walked up Sparks street. Keith's ears got red, and I thought it was funny since I remembered my hat.

I went down to the protest on Parliament Hill today. I'm pretty sure Facebook said it was going to be at 11. However, this sign downtown told me 1 oclock. Considering I was downtown around 9, I wasn't very amused. I wasn't impassioned enough to take part in the protest, but I wanted to see it. In the meantime I explored the gargoyles on the Parliament Buildings, and saw the cats that live in the back.


I did eventually see the protest.

I'm excited we've had a few days of natural light. I've been very excited about about this light. So next week I start my placement in a kindergarden classroom, I'm very excited, And it's close enough I can actually walk there in the morning.
