Still waiting for a callback to do my next placement. Sort of means I'm stuck here with little to do until they get back to me. If I don't hear by today, means I'll walk down at the end of school and see what's up. Means I've been cleaning out my dresser today, I have a lot of random crap in there.

Took Maggie down to the old tree farm. Place is very nice to go walking, however there's no upkeep anymore since it's no longer used. She loved it, running up and down the paths, making a general fool of herself.

Went down to Fandom today with a terrible deck. Played some cards. Woke up tired, and will probably end the day tired. Apparently I'm not sleeping well since I moved my room around. Not only did I play a terrible Scorpion Clan deck today, I also took a whole bunch of terrible pictures. This picture of Brandi sitting across the table from me was the least offensive.

Really stupid cold out today. And of course I picked today to go out to Rona and pick up some not-bamboo. I kinda like the way the not-bamboo looks, even if it's not bamboo. Apparently it's rather hard to kill it, so that means it should live for a little while in my room. Just felt the need to add something green and alive.

Today I decided to do a picture of myself, taken by me. I was learning how to use the remote to go with my camera. I've also been playing more with photoshop, so I photoshopped it a little bit. Mostly for colour, playing with curves and stuff.

Figured a self portrait was acceptable since I'm actually rather happy right now. I sort of realized that when I was out walking Maggie.

No kitty! That's -MY- sweater! I need it to go outside and walk Maggie! Common kitty, it's cold outside! Get off of my sweater :( Kitty no! Stop looking at me like that and get off!

Fine.. I'll go without a sweater :'(

Seems my spurt of cleaning and moving stuff inspired mom. She's been going through her downstairs cupboard, finding all sorts of weird things in there. Some of it she wants to get rid of. Who knew we had so much stuff?

Today I start taking care of Maggie again. Her owner is a teacher at the school I finished a placement at before Christmas. This dog is one of the best trained dogs I have ever seen. She sits, eats, lays down, goes away, and pees on command.

Not everyone in the family follows the same traditions we do. Putting up the Christmas Tree means the cat gets to swat at ornaments. Christmas Day means she gets to run through, hide under, and play with wrapping paper. Today the tree came down, which means she gets to snooze in open ornament boxes.
