Gah, sickness. I do feel marginally better this time than I did last time though, which is at least an improvement. The cold like symptoms are not as bad, but still not lessened enough that I am willing to get on a bus for an hour and a half each way to go to school for 4 hours. No, not happening. I did go though and go my assignment and hand in the work I needed to hand in, but I didn't stay for more than half an hour.

Then tonight I help a group of Yahoo's with their project. Turns out my camera really does take some decent videos when it needs to. This has led me to start thinking about things.

Jen came in today to give a talk to a class that I am not even part of. My teacher just happened to mention to me that she needed someone to come in and talk about comics and cartoons, and I mentioned Jen to her. The talk went so well, and I was ever helpful to help Jen out, that the teacher wants the two of us to come back and act as guest speakers in a different class of hers. As the picture shows, Jen was calm and cool as a cucumber while giving the lesson.

I think I'm part of the loud, annoying group in my Wednesday night class, which is something considering we're neither loud nor terribly annoying. We're just 4 of the youngest people in the class who all sit in a line near the back-ish of the class. That said, we may have argued a few times with some of the people in class, and given them nicknames than only we understand.

This picture was very much like the dinner I made. The dinner was good, but it was a little too spicy. This picture was also good, but a little too fuzzy. I still liked the look of it, so instead I just ran it through photoshop to see what it could turn it into. I like the effect.
That said, I'll have to start working on more pictures that are actually good on their own. With having just gotten over being sick (I'm still very tired a lot), working sometimes, doing school during the day and doing school during the night... it makes things a little busy.

I really don't mind the 8 in the morning Monday class. What I mind are all the people in the class who whine about it being an 8 in the morning Monday class. I suppose they have more classes over the course of the day, where I get to show up for class, do my 2 hours, then I am a free agent for the rest of the day. Of course I ended up working in the afternoon, but still I make my point. Even the buses are pretty quiet at this hour... sometimes.

The tournament in Montreal was very exciting! Mostly because of the trip down, we got stuck in downtown Montreal and got directions from someone we dubbed Senior Nub. We're lost, asking for directions to get back onto the highway and how to find out exit, and he's trying to show up Montreal's bus system.

But the showing was really good, especially for a first time. 30 some people raised about 500 some dollars for prostate cancer research. Not bad for a Saturday. Even better was the fact that a friend, Mark Armitage, won the event. Woo Hoo!

Today is my last day mixing two images together. I know technically I have one more day I should be mixing them, but I am going to Montreal for the day tomorrow. I'd much rather take a picture of the nerds there unadulterated there mixing some. Plus, this week felt more like playing in photoshop than it did taking pictures. I got some neat effects out of it, but I think I am done.

A bit of a fail on the picture today. In theory it was supposed to look like the sky is and the water on one. I kinda got it? Kinda didn't. Not terribly happy. It's something I might try again at a later date.

With today we now only have 100 days left in 2010! Wow, the year has gone by fast. I figured I would be able to keep up with this blog as long as I made it to picture 100. Now, here I am with only 100 pictures left to take. It's made me start to wonder what I am going to do once I am done this year. Am I going to keep up with the blog? Am I going to take a picture every single day? Maybe I'll only take a couple a week? Who knows. I have 100 days to decide.
